The Challenge
Locker & Riley were privileged to undertake the spectacular plaster work to the prestigious public areas at the landmark iconic Lanesborough Hotel designed by the International renowned Interior Designer, Alberto Pinto.
Our Approach
Under the careful direction of Beck Interiors Limited and Reardon Smith Architects, the Grade II listed Lanesborough Hotel was completely renovated to honour the building’s architectural heritage as one of London’s most revered Regency landmarks whilst being one of the most distinguished and luxurious hotels in the world.
Locker & Riley were engaged to provide artistic drawings as well as technical design development expertise from our ‘in house’ team to solve and incorporate integrated air conditioning grills and associated bespoke access panels (some of which were up to 2600mm x 1400mm in size) into extremely complicated and bespoke hand sculpted fibrous plaster ceilings to create a seamless finish, all under an intense commercial programme.
