The Challenge
The restoration and creation of bespoke plasterwork mouldings and architectural features throughout this fine late-Georgian London residence, designed in 1827 by Decimus Burton and later remodelled by Sir Edwin Lutyens.
Our Approach
Architects Quinlan & Francis Terry, specialists in classical building design, became involved in this magnificent residence in 1995 when the building became a private dwelling after many years serving as a college hall of residence.
Originating bespoke plasterwork from the architects’ freehand drawings and providing perfect restoration work for plaster ceilings, cornices and wall features, we were employed to produce a variety of exquisite pieces for the imposing and richly ornamented interior of this historical gem.
