History & Archive
Locker & Riley was founded by Clive Locker and Michael Riley in 1982, after joiner Clive saved 7,000 beautiful woodblock carvings from being destroyed. He spent two years researching their origins, leading him back to a fibrous plaster company that closed in the 1960s. With Michael as a partner, they revived the business and the skills and ethos that still define it today.

Since 1992, Locker & Riley has thrived under the leadership of Jon Riley, whose vision has been to establish the highest-quality decorative plaster business through innovation, in-house training, and technical expertise.
Our talented in-house design and sculpture teams lead the way, ensuring that every piece of decorative plasterwork reflects the finest craftsmanship.
